Electrical Equipment Assembler

External Description:
Role Duties:
- Build, test, and calibrate production items per documented work instructions
- Documentation and repair of returned units
- Use support equipment with electronics for a variety of operations on production work
- Knowledge of blueprints and schematics required
- Final inspection of own work
- Keep equipment and area clean, orderly, and safe
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years previous experience in assembly or manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints
- Effective communication skills
- Some judgement required to ensure performed assigned duties correctly and safely for self and others
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with assembling electrical components.
Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to:
- Concentrated mental and visual attention and manual dexterity required
- Machine shop environment. Maybe be exposed to dust, sand, and dirt. Must wear required PPE
